Foundation — 2026
Formal establishment, governance structure, the ten departments, and the start of the research farm.
Growth — 2026–2027
A completed research farm, 30 active research projects, professional training programmes, and the launch of the Unit's spin-off startups.
Leadership & impact — 2028–2031
The national agricultural data platform, and transfer of the model to other countries in the region through the Unit's international partnerships with FAO, international research centres and universities, in three stages: Egypt first, then North Africa, then the wider Arab region.
